Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts - One Musical Philadelphia

Lewis C. Cassidy’s 5th Graders explored the unique American art form of musical theater while building community and encouraging teamwork. Students self-selected to participate in a 8-week residency to learn songs and dances from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Our 5th Graders shared the routines with our kindergarten through 2nd graders during an in-school assembly, with support provided by the Kimmel. Finally, buses brought students and their families to the Kimmel Center Cultural Campus for an awesome event. Students from schools across the region come together to perform their production numbers in one unforgettable finale performance!
